Adaptor?

    Can one of you boys make an adaptor 1/2-28 to 5/8-30? What would you charge?

    I’m sorry I thought the 5/8-30 was a typo.

    probably any machinist can do one for you. I had one make me one for savage threads.

    My friend has a theory about a fine thread brake to "tune" for the load. My barrel is 1/2X28. A 5/8X30 would give about .016" for half a revolution. Now that I did the math, forget it. Too coarse.
