Action screws coming loose?

Starting to wonder if the action screws are coming loose on this Rem 700 BDL synthetic stock. I have glass bedded it but every time I check the screws they seems loose? Should I blue Locktite them? Something else? Wondering if this is my accuracy robber?

Torque driver and some blue locktite should do the trick. Remington states the 45 in lbs is max for synthetic. Id start maybe around 40 and work your way up on torque as you might notice better accuracy lower or higher than 45 inch per lbs

It could also be due to soft bedding.

Before you use loctite try tightening the action screws and place a "witness mark" on the screw head and bottom metal. Then go shoot it a little until accuracy gets flakey again. Now see if the screws seem loose but the witness Mark's are still lined up.

Blue thread locker. If the stock is plastic, the best cure is a non-plastic stock.

I used Marine Tex Gray for the bedding. This is one of the newer Rem 700 BDL's. The stock is very light weight "plastic".
I have since ran into several people that say if it was a "newer" Remington just get rid of it. So far the most consistent groups I get are
about 1.5" to 2" at 100 yards. last groups I shot messing with powder charge opened up to close to 3" again. Screws seemed very loose.
Wondered if the carnauba wax in the threads was letting this happen?

I've been using the newer orange loktite. It's a little stronger than blue. Haven't had trouble getting it undone though. My lapua kept laughing at the blue and spitting parts.

I am a fan on torquing action screws. I use a Wheeler torque screwdriver for my actions. What I did find on the Ruger 77s is that specs for the front action screw is 75 inch pounds and the rear action screw is 20 inch pounds. I've never been able to get the front screw to 75 inch pounds; however, 65 inch pounds is doing the job for me on all of my Rugers so far. What I did find when I looked for information on the Remington 700 actions was, If you have steel bottom metal 65 inch pds is enough. If the factory aluminum bottom metal is used 45-50 inch pds. Hope this helps you out. Witness marks on the screws ought to give you some feedback on what is happening with the screws. I have used plenty of Loctite on scope mounts and bases, however never used it on receiver screws. Good luck with your rifle.

Well I bought a new inch wrench yesterday. What I found out is I was no where near 45 on the front screw. I had used a wrench and went by feel. Probably had both at about 30. If I had to guess.
Gonna start experimenting.

Update.

I did shoot a 4 shot group today with 45 and 25 on the screws. It was virtually tied with the best group this rifle has printed. Which is decent on the 3 shots.(sub MOA) There is always that 4th pesky one that gets it to just above MOA.
I will continue the quest. I seem to be headed in right direction. Gonna try to tweak some RL 26 in it. Just scored 8 lbs of it!!!
Gonna add 5 inch lbs and see what happens. Who knows, maybe after a couple hundred rounds the barrel will break in and shoot! LOL

What does your glass bedding job look like? Curious if you floated the barrel, and if so where does the bedding end in reference to where the barrel is floated. I have gotten good performance with floating the barrel from 4 inches in front of the recoil lug out.
