You generally don't get that many chances at a coyote of course, but the shooter held it together and the story had a happy ending. Sometimes skill mixed in with a little luck saves the day. Great quality video. Thanks for sharing with us.

What caliber were you shooting? Good load combo to hit him that far back and take him out. You probably took out the kidneys and that large artery.

I filmed one many years ago that the kid missed 11 or 12 times, before connecting, without a suppressor on his AR. Coyote just flinched each time and gazed into the sky as is he thought a bee was zipping by. One of the dumbest coyotes to ever have lived, and died.
