7mm saum w/180gr bergers

Ive been wanting tu build a 7mm saum for a while now. I am curious as what the overall loaded length the running 180gr bergers is. All feedback is appreciated. I am looking at the defiance xm action because it has the ability to have a c.o.a.l of 3.2 inches.

You are going to be loading the ammo so the length will be whatever length you make them. A 3.2" length magazine will be plenty long.

The reamer you use for your build will determine how long the OAL can be (you'll be loading your own as mention above) since that controls the length of the throat.

My 7 SAUM has 0.140" freebore. Berger 168 VLDH's are slightly longer than 3" in COAL.
