New to this site not sure about how things run. Question. I want to get a thumbhole stock for my rifle (in the title.) Not sure if anyone on here can give me advice of a good product to buy. Also would like to stay under $300 for the stock. Thanks for advice.

MT, welcome to a great forum. I have bedded 8 Boyd's laminate stocks for friends. They are very strong and come in an assortment of colors with several designs to choose from. The most expensive Boyd's was $137 to the door. I would definitely epoxy bed their stocks. Next up in price is a Bell&Carlson Medalist around $300 to the door. Others are around $500+ which you have indicated is out of your range. Good luck
