Anyone playing around with the 6mm prc?Wondering if I'll be able to move a 108gr bullet 3000fps+ with an 18" barrel? Would you do the 6mm prc again or keep it simple and stick with the 6.5 prc?

Look up 6mm primal rights. He had a modified 6mm prc he was testing

Yep I've read on that one. I don't want to fireform brass on this project. I known unknown is going to be offering fireformed brass at some point but the 6UM might be to much of a good thing for what I'm looking to do

Stick with the 6.5 it'll hit harder and further than the 6

Ever consider the Sherman 6 Max. Brass available but not proper headstamp (6.5 Max). Just needs necking down.

I called Bartlein and spoke to Frank and asked him if their new mod BB barrels would hold up better against a 6 mm/6.5 PRC he said from what people have told him and the barrels he's looked at per people shooting that exact cartridge and it's similar 6 x 284 …they get about 700 rounds before the barrel has to be cut back. This is why I decided to do a 25/6.5 PRC.
