It was indeed the biggest Long Range match I have ever seen at AEDC!
There were 16 Open F Class, 14 F/TR, 7 Any/Any, 5 Service Rifle and 4 Match Rifle competitors....a total of 46 shooters today.
And the winners are:
F Class Open
1st Jeff Traylor(Indiana).......400-28
2nd Paul Selby(Kentucky)........400-25
3rd Joe Robinson(Tennessee).....399-29
F/TR
1st Campbell Boyd(Tennessee)....395-15
2nd Lindsey London(Georgia).....392-15
3rd Matt Kubic(Tennessee).......391-17
Any/Any
1st Frank VanCleave(Tennessee)..393-18
2nd Chris Hayes (Tennessee).....393-15
3rd Ty Cooper (USAMU)...........393-11
Service Rifle
1st Walter Craig(USAMU).............381-11
2nd Charlie Beyer(Tennessee)........362-5
Match Rifle
1st Wayne Forshee (Georgia).........392-19
2nd Dale Carpenter (Indiana)........377-6
The high Junior was Adam Edge(Tullahoma, Tn)...394-20, narrowly edging(no pun intended) out Victoria Corbin (391-14). Adam recently returned from service in Iraq with the USMC...it was his first match ever and he shot a 200-14 at 600 yards!! Thanks Frank for bringing him out!!!

Thanks to everyone that attended and please know that we welcome your comments and suggestions on making these matches what you want them to be...please let us know what you like and what you don't, we want to be better!! Again kudos to Ronnie Morris for running the line again...and to Chris Hayes(Range Pimp of the Century) for all the expert manipulation of the squadding and stats.
Rusty
