6 Sherman Max COAL

I am wanting to build a dedicated coyote gun and wanted to do it in 6 Sherman max using the 70gr variant of hammer bullets. I am aware of over bore and not concerned of a 500 round barrel life. My question is, on COAL as my original plan was a 243AI I have a Mack Bros short action. I'll get a different bolt but will the short hammer bullet and the 6max be able to cycle in a short action?

I'd imagine you'll be under 2.8", Sherman max is around 2.020 case length, nose of a 70gr hammer is 0.590, throw in 0.150 freebore, that all adds up to 2.780 or so.

I have a 6saum with long freebore. Using 115 dtacs I'm approved 2.93 coal touching lands. Other longer nosed bullets are well over 3" tho.
