Gents I need some help here, has anyone worked up a load with retumbo? My rifle has a 0.180" freebore and I have set the jump to ~ 0 so I am just kissing the lands. I am attempting to find pressure while running a standard ladder test. Cases are virgin ADG with first charges from 58.0 to 62.5, I surely thought I'd pressure out by then but I didn't. I went back in and loaded 63.0 to 65.5), 64.5 barely started to show ejector marks. It was late in the evening when I got to the second string and my oheler wouldn't read but 62.5 was 2980s. Barrel is a 7twist 26" benchmark with 5 rounds when I started this, it was cleaned and 5 foulers before the second string.
Does this lineup with anything y'all have seen? I can't decide if I have a slow lot here or if the case has more volume than I gave credit for with the bullet seated out.
