Anyone using the 130 grain Sierra game changers in the 6.5 Creedmoors? I'm very interested in using these on white tails out to 500 yards max.

After some valuable assistance from Greyfox I worked up a load with the 130 gr Sierra GC in my 6.5-284 Norma. I found them to be very accurate with them grouping at
0.44 MOA at 400m. This load is with Lapua cases, Fed 210M primers and 56.8 grains of Rel 26 for a MV of 2988 fps. My groups tightened up when I went from 0.020" to 0.030" off the lands. At this stage I have only shot one Red Stag with them. I shot him at 300m and aimed for his neck, the bullet left an exit hole that measured around 7/8th of an inch. I think you will have no trouble working up a load for your 6.5 CM.

Gives me some insight on seating depth and powder. I been following the RL26 and 6.5 Creedmoor thread. Nice Red Stag btw.

I have some really good potential with them in my 6.5 creedmoor and rl16 right around that 2900 area.
