I have several SSK 44 mag reloads meant to be used in a Super Blackhawk. These are hard cast truncated cone shapes, in the 249-265 gr, pushed by a case hull if H110.
Can they be cured in a Ruger lever rifle, or will internal damage occur ?

There's quite a few 44 Mag loads that run 40,000 CUP. The rifle's longer barrel will get quite a few more FPS out of same load fired from pistol. No idea what load or pressure he's got, unless pulls a bullet, weighs charge, and can identify the powder. If it is H-110.

The hard cast bullets were SAK TRUNCATED CONES, 1980-1990 vintage, cast by Pennys Hand Casting, to JDJ specs, back then
-style 320 SSK, , about 240-250gr, pushed by 19.5 - 21.5 gr H110
-Style 311 SSK , about 220 gr, pushed by 20.5-22.0 gr H110 when I worked up loads.
-Style 429421, 250 gr, SWC, pushed by 23-25gr H110 while working up loads.
All data from JDJ. -1200-1300+ FPS in a 7.5" SBH, but I recall that 1600+ was obtainable. I'll have to dig deep for the actual data.

I also reloaded hot 454 casull with the .454 versions of those, SSK HEADS@1800 fps, and HOT 45LC versions @1400 fps, using a 45 LC cylinder that casull made for it.

The 44ssk 311 load, did stretch my TC CONTENDER FRAME - the hole's that received the bbl pin on the 7th round, causing it to open on recoil and then not lock up!! TC REPLACED THE FRAME w/o any issue back in those days. Bless Them.
So the rifle is Rugers 44 lever carbine, that uses the same rotary mag as the auto.
Are these loads safe for the action, and the metal to wood assembly screws?

Play it safe, maybe it's a No go, broke 1 gun with em why try another? Find a safe level, good luck.
