375 Ruger

Have another 375 Ruger (25" 1:12) headed my way, been a while since I had one of these and there's new powders out now that are useable for it. In fact, was just reading that StaBALL 6.5 is one of them. Bullets will be the Barnes .375" 270gr LRX, brass is new ADG, primers will be CCI LRMP's. Anyone else loading for the 375 Ruger?

Thanks!
We recently picked up a .375 Ruger REAMER and am saving for some HUNTETRS that want one of these Knock Down Calibers. Please let us know what you REAMER Dimensions are and how your new rifle shoots!
We hope you have a shooter and would share info!

Thanks and yep! Will post my outcomes. My target velocity is +/- 2800fps and I have quite a few different powders to sort out. Thanks all for your interest here and your contributions, appreciate it.

That is my goal as well, I am nearly there with my Guide Gun.
That is with H4350 and the LRX. I think that powder is ideal for a cup and core 270 gr, but with the Looong 270LRX I am crunching the powder big time. A slightly faster powder might be better with the limited mag length od the Ruger.

I thought the same thing when I was seating a Barnes 270 grain TSX in my .375. ……when I bulged the case when seating the bullet! 😉 I guess that when, using a long drop tube, the powder was slightly above the junction of the shoulder and the neck!

You had to seat them "very slowly", releasing the pressure during the seating step, rotating the cartridge several times during the process! But, velocity was near my goal……and they shot quite well! 😁

When I finally got the faster powder that I was waiting on……the loads aren't quite as compressed. I can actually seat them bullet in one, slow stoke without bulging the case!

You must celebrate the little victories! 😜 memtb
