358win. barrel ?

Is a #2 remington standard sporterweight heavy enough for a 358" diameter bore or would a #3 barrel be a smarter choice ?

Bought a 243 rem 700 cheap and plan on building a stand/blind gun for hogs and deer so thanks for any help.
