anyone loading 338RUM with WC872?. I looking for factory dupe loads using 250 grand slams,rem brass,rem 91/2m primer WC 872 powder. The factory load would be Rem permire 250gr. I also have a bunch of Hornardy 225gr SST if someone has a load for them using WC 872. Thanks

Welcome aboard.
I find Hodgon US 869 works very well in my 338 RUM. Its pretty much "on the order of" 872. However I think that either powder would be a bit slow for the 225s and 250s. I use the 300 SMKs and the combination is great. (101gr US869)

Where do you get your US869? I have not seen that before. When we get to burning 125 grs and more, if the powder works well.... then I give it a try.
