Post hunting season, I'm planning on sending my 300 Raptor back up to Kirby to give it a look through and try another loading to get more load data for it.
In addition to, I claimed an unspoken for 338 LRSS barrel he had in the shop. I settled in on a 338 Norma for it to go along with the 300 Raptor barrel, as more of a daily driver.
The barrel is a 1:8.7 32" bartlien
I'm aiming at the barrel finishing at 30" as I don't want to go under that since the action sits in a A5 super mag stock.
What's your load data and performance of your 338 Norma. Really want to hear from those with 28"+ barrels.
The rifle currently sports a 34" barrel.
