I havent tryed any Hammer Bullets yet . When I was at there Shop Steve wanted me to try them out ...i just have a hard time with the lighter grain idea ...I'm just Old School he said ! Ha ha

Nice!! I'm newer to them. Killed a couple elk with 220 eldx out of my 300 rum. 30 yards and 80 yards. Bullet did not like that. Built a 28 nosler for 177 HH and killed an elk at about 200 yards. Not apples to apples but I'm more impressed with them I guess. I shoot a lot of Berger's and eldx-m at paper and steel but now switched my 3 main hunting rifles to hammers.

H1000 is what Shawn Carlock uses because of its temperature stability. Reloder 33 gave me the most speed but is a lot dirtier and I saw some stability issues in the high 80's F and N570 gives great speed but will wear the throat ~40% faster than H1000
