338 300 gr Berger seating depth

Anyone having good luck seating them close to the lands. I shot several different loads at .020" off out of an Edge and it showed a tendency to kick the 2nd shot out in a 3 shot group. 92 grs of H1000 put the 1st and 3rd shot in the same hole at 200 yrds but kicked the 2nd one out an inch. Next time I go back I'm gonna have some at .015", .010", .005" and maybe touching. JUst wanted to see what others may have found

I went through the same thing. I found that going out further, .040" tightened up my groups. Either way seems to impact performance.

I have seated them from .015" to .060" and all groups were 1/2 moa or under at 300 yards. I settled at .015" off the lans as I had single digit ES there.
