SOLD/EXPIRED .338 250gr Berger Elite Hunter

I have two boxes of 250 gr. Berger Elite Hunters (.338). I had a buddy open up the tips using a .040" drill bit at his machine shop. 30 of them have been loaded and then pulled using a collet die. Looking to get $90 a box or $170 for both.

Mind me asking your experience with the modified tips vs factory?

I have no experience on game with the modified tips. I had a factory tip not expand on a mule deer at 800 yards (2000 fps impact velocity) and so the interwebs suggested that I spend time and resources to make the bullet open up easier by using a wire bit or a .040" bit.
