308 load

hi i was woundering if any of you have a load for a 308win with 190gr sierra matchking and varget powder. thanks gun)

Mine is with Berger 185/190 VLD's. I use 47g of Varget and seat the bullets to 3.107" col. I get ~2700 out of a 20" bbl. I have a VERY long throat.

I have gone up to 45grs with ok accuracy but I get better results with N-550 when using the heavier bullets like 190-220 , I think its due to the Varget filling the case to much.

Like James said I would personally use a slower powder with the 190's. If you like hodgdon powders consider using 4831sc for that heavy of a bullet. I get excellent speed and accuracy with it.
