I'm familiar with having the .308 cartridge in bot SAAMI and CIP 'versions' but when I choose .300 winmag I see five types:

.300 Win. Mag.[@]
.300 Win. Mag.[F]
.300 Win. Mag.[N]
.300 Win. Mag.[R]
.300 Win. Mag.[W]

does anybody know what they are? And, more important, which one i should use for development?

F=Federal
N=Norma
R=Remington
W=Winchester

You can also add another case by supplying the capacity in grains of water (H2O).

Cheers.

It may/may not make 0 difference in the load....
However the "defacto" standard is this: You change ANYTHING in the load... start again...
Lot numbers in bullets(weight change/slight diameter difference? check)
Lot numbers in primers/powder
The casings- different manufacturers net different H2o capacities, netting different pressures.

Develop the load on what you plan on shooting.
