If a smith is doing it, any of the aftermarket barrels are fine; Krieger (I have one in 300wm and it is AWESOME) Hart, Shilen..... If you want to do it yourself, which is very easy, many places make a prefit Savage barrel. I would call Jim Briggs at NSS; he sells Criterion (I have a 7mm and it is great) and Shilen.
