the 76.8 group opened up a lot.

This is a #1 I've had since the early 80's, I just put a Zeiss 3-15X50 Hd5 with rz800 reticle.
Gun has been through hells half acre in a saddle scabbard, and it looks like it.
I recently added a Witt brake.
Seems to shoot o.k

I seated these .04 off the lans--(3.705 COAL)
using Winchester brass
215 Berger
H-1000
Federal 215M

I'll take this to 1000 and beyond in the next week.

Looks like a keeper! The 215 is an awesome bullet in the win mag.

I've been building a load for a 300Wtby, using the 215 and pulled the #1 out and started testing.
I was amazed how fast load development was, especially considering the inadequacies of the #1 platform in regards to accuracy.

I also have one in .243 that is a half to three quarter inch gun.
