300 ultra 215 Berger base to olgive

What are you getting for your base to olgive measurement ?
I am using remington brass and my measurement is 3.898 BO


Just wondering how others loading these bullets are running them ?

That can't be correct. The bullet would have to be out of the case 3/8" of an inch for that to be correct.

That would long for a base to bullet tip measurement.

Edd perhaps his caliper isnt zeroed for use with the ogive tool which would add around 1.004.

My 230s are seated at 2.899. Id say hes pretty close.

Edit.....or maybe there 2.98......hmmm have to go check my notes.

The bearing surface of the 230 is .070" longer than the 215. The boat tail and the nose are the same.
