I wasn't sure I thought that the ba and fcps in win mag were standard open top actions I have dropped my standard mag bolt into the Lapua to see and also visually compared them the lapua has the baffle behind the bolt face notched on one side apparently to account for the longer bolt head and still fit.

I don't have a 'regular' LA / magnum action to compare to, so can't really help ya there.
The current barrel was originally (from what I recall) throated long for 215/230 Hybrids, so rounds loaded to just kiss the lands are pretty long - just under 3.650" - but still fit in the 3.850" magazine just fine
