Yes you have played . Free bore works bbl life is not an issue unless you are a 308 guy at CMP doing 3000 rds a month
Hunting guns not an issue , he'll I replaced the weatherby bbl for accuracy and length .


Off the charts velocity 30-378 Vit v n570 or H870 drop tube it . Free bore std weatherby lengths .

Look into having a reamer built so that you can have a 'match' diameter throat with all that freebore you'll have the speed but accuracy won't suffer.
