So im putting together a light weight rig to pack around in a 30-06 Ai. I ordered some Badlands Bulldozer 2 175 bullets to try but I cant find any data for using imr-4955 only the standard 06 on the imr web site). I'm trying to push it over 2900 in a 24 inch pipe. The bulldozers are pretty long bullets so I think I can stretch the OAL out to 3.5-3.6 to keep the pressure down. Any recommendations or personal use out there with the 06 ackley with 4955?

How did you make out with this? I just started playing with IMR 4955 in a 300 win and find that once I start seeing pressure it builds quick.... probably best kept too lighter bullets in the 300 win.

No personal recommendation, but I ran it through QL if you are still looking. No Badlands bullet data available so I used a Barnes 175 LRX. Looks as though capacity may limit you with IMR 4955. Velocity seems low as well.

I've found the same thing with all the enduron powders. They do seem to go from normal to high pressure quickly. iME.
My 280ai really liked H4831sc with 120 gr Barnes.

Im testing 4831sc with 150 eld-x bullets. The store in town have a few ponds of the 4831sc on the shelf
