Well... other then fire forming some more brass and finalizing a load(working with the 175 ABLR and 180 VLD right now, She's done.

Boyds AA Grade Maple (Fleur De Elise? Stippling)
Harris S Series 9-13 7 stage bipe
Brux #5 finished @ 26in, Vias Mini-Mag Brake (OAL on barrel is about 27.5in)
Remington 700 Limited action (from my 280 Remington limited run-- bottom metal matches)
NF 15 MOA rail, Leupold PRW Mediums, and a Vortex Viper HS-LR 4x16x50..

Great looking gun! I'm starting a build very similar-- 280ai on Rem 700 stainless action and a game scout edge stock. I have a Vortex HSLR as well to top it. How do you like that #5 contour and what is your weight without the bipod??

Did you have the chamber cut to the SAAMI spec 280 ackley? And did you have anything done for shooting the longer 180-195gr bullets?

She's throated for the 195s... however, I doubt there's enough boiler room to matter.
I'm getting 2800 or so out of 175 ABLRs.. I need to fireform more brass and test the 180/195 Bergers...
I received some data from Berger that looks pretty solid... they predict top velocities with the EOL around 2680-2750, depending on the propellant speed....

Great looking rifle! I have the same scope. Can't wait to use it on my custom rem .243.
