270win load

Hi guy.

My 270win like 150gr nosler with 52gr of h4350. Wonder if some one have experience with 150gr interlock? It will cost lest thant the nosler.
Ps im hunting moose so need hevy stuff.

I have a 270 w/22" barrel that I have been shooting for about 30yrs. IMR 4350 53.3gr 150gr Hornady Interlock w/flatbase 2900fps and under 1" all day long

I loaded for a friends 270 for a few years. His rifle really liked the Hornady 150gr. IL, CCI 250, RL22. 58gr. shot very well, as does 60gr. It has always worked well on deer. He shot an elk and a moose with this load as well. His results were excellent.

I recently got a 270 of my own, and I've found that the same load works well in it.


The Hornady Interlock isn't as tough as the Nosler Partition. But it's a heck of a good bullet when used within it's limits. Good luck.
