A 140 Accubond under a stiff load of Retumbo has dumped a few elk for me, I had a Savage with a 1-11 and shoot a lot of the 140 Accubond and 140 Berger. The 150's shot very well also, I moved to a faster twist once the factory barrel was shot out and now shoot the 165 Matrix which ruins an elks will to live gun)
Thanks guys with the accubonds I'm running rl 19 I believe I'm away from home right now though the biggest thing I'm seeing with them is according to the nosler manual with the powder charger I should be getting about 150 fps more than I am. But I'm not complaining they are shooting very well. The Hornadys shoot very well also I'm just afraid they'd be a little soft for elk but maybe not
