270 wsm brass necked up 300 wsm?

Grouse, I checked the RCBS Special order Catalog, necking the case up from 270 to 300 should be a RULE #1 operation,

Forming die not required, use full length sizing die in final caliber.

Imo its better to use a sizing mandrel for upsizing, much better for the neck that the FL sizing expander.
However your still most likely going to have to FL size after that as it will most likely affect the neck/shoulder contact point after you seat your projectile.

I sized up Norma .243 brass to .264 & chambered an empty case after expanding only & it was fine.
Then after I seated the projectile they would not chamber.

Obviously having freshly annealed brass will help in this process.
