I bought a Ruger American Rifle in .243 Win late last year, shot 85 rounds in the original stock version, then used the Ruger 3 lug 70* bolt action as the basis for a long range build that includes a Preferred Barrel Blanks 26" stainless steel .900 Varmint taper bbl with 1:7 3R rifling, a Boyd's Spike Camp laminated wood stock, CVlife bipod, Covenant-5 3-15x50 SFP side focus 30mm scope, M-Carbon trigger spring. The bbl is full free floated and the action sits on "V" blocks. There is a detachable 4 round Ruger magazine. The rifle weighs 13lbs 3ozs unloaded. The new bbl has never been shot. The gun is in pristine like-new condition and will rarely get used by me. It should go to someone who'll exercise it far more than I ever would. Ships in a Plano hard case.
