GOT a chance for a new reamer & go-gauge cheap, but not to happy that the parent case is a 6.5x55.
pressure for that is kinda low.

That was a few years ago! A lot of history with the Vais since then! I ended up with a 6mm-284 using 108 grain ELD and 224 Vais using 80 ELD bullets for Rockchucks. I prefer the 6mm for long shots. I also have another 224 Vais I had built recently for coyotes and just finished load development last week. 3775-3800 fps with 75 grain ELD's. 27" 1-8 twist barrel using RE22 powder. Cheers!
