Anyone having any luck loading for 22 ARC? There doesn't seem to be a ton of tried and true loads out for them, so I was wondering if anyone cared to share some loads. I've loaded some 80gr Amaxs, 69gr Blitzkings, and 60gr TMKs with decent results. H4350, 8208 XBR and A2520. Mostly shooting coyotes but I did kill a deer with the AMax and it performed well out of a 20" Ballistic Advantage barreled AR.

H4350 is too slow, I had luck with h4895, rl 15, varget, 8208, benchmark. I hate ball powders and will never use them, but if you want to cfe223 worked, also leverevolution. I just got sick of the ball powders and now I won't use them. I was shooting 75 gr eld m, but I am sure you can use those powders down to a 60 or so before you fill the case.

With what powder you have listed H4350 is where I would work with ~75g and heavier bullets, lots to choose from there. I'm running Staball6.5 in my 18" with a 77g Sierra TMK. Plain drops deer.

What is your velocity with that load?
It's right at 3,000 and a compressed load. IDK if you could get enough Staball 6.5 in a 22ARC case to get yourself into trouble and still seat a bullet. I started at 29.0g and worked up. The burn became a lot cleaner at 30g. I worked up to where it shot best with the lowest SD and just ran with that. I reloaded one case five times with no adverse effects on the primer seating.

29 grains of Staball match with an 85.5 hybrid gets me 2,940 in a 25" barrel-bolt gun and had been very accurate but dirty.

I have had good luck with H4350 and 75 ELDMs. Mine didnt like CFE223 at all, have some varget loaded up to play with but havent had time yet.

I have been researching the 22ARC for a while. In difference in velocity comparing an AR and bolt gun when both are loaded to
maximum pressures is more than I expected. The AR would be better for me if I get the drop on a sounder of Hogs but for everything else I would rather have the large performance increase of a bolt gun. I have to make a decision there.

What is it about ball powders you don't like? I'm considering a 22 ARC in the near future... and/or a 6 ARC both bolt guns

I have FINALLY worked through my load development powder decision. Lone Peak Arms Fusion with Proof Carbon 22". New Alpha Brass with Berger 85.5 Hybrid. Initial groups with LeveRevolution, StaBall Match, N140, Varget, H4350. Started with conservative loads. LeveRevolution and StaBall eliminated due to less than ideal groups. H4350 ran out of fps at the book compressed load. N140 and Varget provided very similar performance with identical loads. Varget gave me a bit more fps and slightly better groups. 27.5 grn. Right at 2800 fps. Pressure is in the acceptable safe range for me. Now on to dialing in jump and looking forward to getting the brass all formed to my chamber. Pulled one shot in this group...pretty sure this load will shoot better than my abilities!

When I get around to hunting with this rifle I plan on ear-holing hogs. Pretty sure that'll work well! 🤣 Most of what I have read in forums is that these Bergers will kill just fine. No actual experience on game with them yet.
