Need some opinions on what to do. In my grandpa's 22-250, which is a Christensen arms ridgeline, when I go to chamber one of the brass it takes a lot of pressure to get the bolt to close and also hard once I fire. I've been full sizing with a hornady die which I know isn't everyone's favorite but it's worked good for me, what should I do next? Do I need to bump the shoulder back and if so how exactly do I do that? Haven't really run into this exact on this 22-250. Thanks.

Usually have to make the press cam over a little. Follow magnums advice. I set up my dies the same way when I began reloading and found that after a few firings, my cases became difficult to chamber. Turns out, I wasn't really pushing the shoulder back at all. Once I started doing as Magnum stated and actually measuring my cases, these problems went away. This becomes even more problematic if your chamber is cut to the minimum. And as above, does factory ammo chamber OK? Assuming it does per your response that it's been fired in your gun, or was it virgin brass you reloaded?
