I recently aquired a 22-243 Win. with a 12 twist barrel off of a member.
I am looking to shoot the 55gr Sierra BTHP out of it, but have no clue what powders to use. I am wanting to get max velocities out of it so i dont care about barrel life. New barrels are cheap enough. I have several pounds of Varget, H4350, and H1000 on hand. I have read good things about the H414 powder and this caliber (the previous owner had a load worked with this powder also) but i want to stick to Extreme non sinsative powder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
