208 Eld-m for hunting

I'm just starting load development on my 300 norma mag, shots on game will be typically under 1k.

Just wondering if anyone had any experiences with game and the 208 ELD-M.

Rifle details are:

1 in 9 Hells Canyon barrel
Rim country action
Hawkins precision bottom metal
trigger tech trigger
PTG V brake
manners EH-1
swarovski X5 3.5x18
Bertram Brass 300 norma brass

They will expire in short order when shot broadside thru both lungs. I've used the 225gr Eld-M.

Enough people have used the 208 amax for hunting for years and its my understanding that the eldm is basically the a max. I am gonna use the 225 eldm this year and am interested to see how it does. I would go for it if ibwere you.
