Anyone try this combo? I'm wanting to give it a shot with some h1k tomorrow but not sure where I'm going to start. Figure a mid load for the 215 is around 77 grains, maybe I'll start there for the 205? Anyone with experience here?

I have no idea about the reloading info for it in a 300 PRC but I just shot an elk the other day with the 205 and was very happy with terminal performance, albeit only at 80 yards. I use Retumbo in a 30N.

Solid performance. I've also got a small stash of 215 hybrids but wanted to test both. My prc has a 22" barrel so wouldn't mind a little added velocity with the 205s

I loaded the 205s' in a 300 PRC Bergara with no issues at 77gr. of H1000. About .700-.750" groups at .020" off lands. Did Berger test and .020-.030" was best accuracy. Never got around to ladders with H1000 though.

Did you end up developing a load for this rifle?
They're a good bullet but ended up hunting with the 215. Accuracy wise they were on par but I couldn't get them fast enough to have any advantage over the 215 as they have a bit more bearing surface. My barrel doesn't seem to love either though and while I was able to get them right around that half minute mark it took some work. I find that if your barrel likes em usually it's pretty easy. The 215 I have holding around 1/2-3/4 minutes out at range but the 205 was probably closer to a minute beyond 500. I'll see if I can dig up my load info and give a little more detail here shortly. If I remember right it was at 79.5 gr H1000 and around .050 off the lands but I will check. Coincidentally that's the same charge I have the 215s at in ADG brass

So after checking notes I shot these over 79.5 grains h1000 at 2860fps in a 22" barrel. They're jumping .045". Interestingly enough that's the same charge I use with the 215 hybrid and my velocity is exactly 1fps faster with the 215 hybrid. Roughly same accuracy. So I'd use em in a pinch but if I have 215s they make way more sense.
