2020 prarie dog population in Montana. ??

Maybe I am to late for this year. I been hearing for the last three years that the Pdogs have not been populating very well. Does anyone know if the dog hunting is getting any better in eastern Idaho or Montana. I am thinking of next summer for a trip from Washington.

Well the buggers are getting creamed by a guy in my neighbors field just south of me. There must be thousands of them. I've shot a dozen out of my garden already too. Little nasty bastards.
