Anyone load these up in a 300 PRC yet? And how did they perform for accuracy and/or on game? Thanks!

I was waiting for someone else to chime in....but I will be loading these up once I can find some primers. I was about to start the same thread....but I've had good results on both accuracy and game with 140gr Accubonds in my 260.

I currently have the following:

Christensen Ridgeline Ti
200gr Accubonds
ADG brass
N170 powder (only thing I could come across, thinking velocity will be too slow, so will hopefully try Retumbo too)
*Need CCI 250's....*

Ok thanks. I'm going to load some up soon but was just curious what others are getting. My setup will be:

Fierce Carbon Rival
200gr Accubonds
Hornady brass (once fired)
Retumbo Powder
Federal 215 primers

I have used them in several cartridges, the closet to your application being a 300 RUM at about 3100. All bullets have performed as expected for me on game with complete pass throughs and maybe a quarter size exit. You don't get the bang flop effect with these bullets but far less meat loss also. Out of the 7 deer I'v taken the furthest they made it was about 40 yards. Accuracy wise I'v ran mine out to 700 yards with 1/2 to 3/4 moa, this is in a factory Sendero.

I have shot quit a few elk and a few deer with them in 300 wm. Worked very well at close range and out to 550 for me on game. Lack BC of some other bullets in that weight class but always performed consistent and shot well.

Good to hear. I know accubonds are good I've shot them with some factory Ammo. But this is my first 30 cal magnum and was curious as to performance. BC means nothing to me as my shots on game wont be past 400 yards anyway.

Same rifle. Same results. Have shot 3 elk with them at @250 all passthroughs. my .02

Twist rate 1:9
I emailed Hammer about the 199 and they recommended going with the 181 and getting the velocity up. So I ordered the 181. Might have to order some 199 as well. But with only 1 pound of powder on hand to work up loads in this caliber it'll be a while until I get to those. Unless I can score some more powder that is.

The 200 grain accubond is my favorite bullet for my 300 win mags.......I have shot deer and caribou with them and had complete pass throughs at ranges less than 200 yards. Loaded some for my brother's 300 win mag and he shot a moose in Alaska with them. The moose was shot 3 times broadside in the shoulder area before going down (as moose do). He recovered 2 of the 3 bullets just under the hide on the off side and they were textbook mushrooms. Some bone was hit and the range was around 100 yards. Some like the 180 grainers, but I like the higher BC or the 200 grainers....they just make more sense.

300rum, 200ab...

Both of these pulled from a 8.5ft Alaskan mtn grizz, 340 yards...
