Do you know the hole spacing? Wondering if it will fit a Vanguard LA. I have Leupold bases on it now but it is a 2 pc. Most Remington bases fit the Vanguard. According the Lupey fit book.

Here are the measurements that I took off my 700 L/A.
Front receiver ring 6-48 tapped screw hole spacing is - .860"
Rear receiver ring 6-48 tapped screw hole spacing is - .604"

Front ring/front 6-48 tapped screw hole to rear ring/rear 6-48 tapped hole spacing is - 5.930"
Front ring/rear 6-48 tapped screw hole to rear ring/front 6-48 tapped hole spacing is - 4.470"
ALL measurements are center / center as measured by B&S digital calipers w/ 6-48 tapped hole diameter measured as .116"

The Rem LA rail will fit the Howa LA.

as far as i am aware, the contour of both weatherby and howa are similar but as far as hole spacing- im clueless.

i also have and EGW 20 MOA rail for a LA Montana Rifleman

I have the heavy duty 20 MOA EGW Rem LA on my S&W M1500 (Howa) the spacing isn't exactly perfect, but it fits and it works. I had to get creative in which screws I put in first. Just a result of in-exact machining.
