1917 eddystone trigger replacement.

I've got my grandfather's sporterized 1917 and want to replace the trigger with a timney .Do they work with the cock on closing that the eddystone has. ? I don't want to alter the bolt or anything I'd just like a good workable trigger pull and not 9# of creep and pull .

Yes they will work, you have to install additional hardware, a firing pin spring and cocking piece to make the conversation to cock on opening,
