I have a 17 Remington and a 17 Mach IV "dog" rifles, both Remington 700's. Love both of them. I do prefer the 17 Mach IV because after about 20-25 rounds the 17 Remington dirties the barrel so much accuracy really falls of and I must stop and clean it. But those little 25 grain pills (sure am glad I stocked up on those little babies a first of last years ago) really do a job on the "dogs" out to about 200-250 yards. And you don't even know you fired the rifle outside of the "boom"!
