155 SMK 6.5

I was going through some stuff and found a new box of the 155smk bullets. 500 pack from back when I had my 6.5-284. Thinking about trying them in my PRC unless someone needs them!!lol

Anybody still play with these?

I shot them a little like 10+yrs ago. They shot well but at that time the 140 VLD from berger came out and had a superior BC and was 15gr lighter. Could run it faster with the higher BC just made for a flatter round. Hell, this even applied to the 142 SMK from sierra.

I killed a few deer with them though. Good bullets. For a while they were one of the top offerings in 6.5. Just eventually became obsolete.

Yea...I had them for my 6.5-284 many years ago and must have put them back for some reason. I figure I might as well shoot them since they are new and I have 500 of them!!lol I don't have any of that data from back then. May try to point them or something.
