155 hammers

Just wanted to share there seems to be something magical with this combo never had such ease figuring out a load. 155 hammers in my 7mag with Retumbo going 2950. Thing is I've tried it out with multiple rifles and it does well. Could use some more speed but couldn't be happier with the accuracy in a reasonable weight hunting rifle.

It's either instant, or not worth chasing.

Retumbo powder. This barrel was a 8 the last one was a 9 and did just as good before I shot it out.

I did the 131s with Rl23 at 3504 FPS.

177s with Rl26 was 3070 FPS.

Both loads were under ten rounds to find pressure, then over the chrono.

How was the accuracy? I had some one hole groups in the 3200 range with 143 McGuires but they wouldnt group well at 600 not sure why.

Very good. So good my BIL scammed me into selling him the rifle.

ES on the Rl 23 with 131s was 4 FPS.

Here is the 177. N570 was a little slower, but had more of it. Never shot past 100 before he bought it.

Found the pic from my last barrel. I think this was a 9 or 8.7. I know it wasn't an 8 and it still made these perform well. Bartline 2b 600 yards and that's 3 shots.
