139gr Interbond - 7mm08

Is Inter bond the only bullets you have. Because they are expensive and hard to find. SSTs works well, very well in fact. And are much less costly and available.

Agree %100. I shoot the 139 interbond out of my 280 AI at close to 3100 fps and prefer ballistic tip / SST's for the slower velocities of the 7-08

The 139gr SST and the 7mm-08 are a match made in heaven, I have mentioned this before in other threads. For deer and smaller game, just can't go wrong, from up close to down range.

I do love to shot heavies in the 7mm-08 though, for elk up to 600 yds, or more depending elevation.

But again, for bonded bullets in this cartridge, from experience, I wouldn't shot past 200 yds at an animal, and would not use it for deer or smaller game.

Around 48.5 grains of H4350 will push a 139/140 2875fps+ and give you 1/2" accuracy from a 22". Extremely temp stable and POI consistent.

I've burned over a dozen different powders in 7mm08, and H4350 is perfect with 130-145s. I do use a drop funnel, as loads will be compressed.

Nothing wrong with your bullet selection, but I'm of the opinion it is not needed at 7mm08 velocities (based on my on game experience).

Big game, IMR4350, IMR4451, IMR4064, RL17, and RL16 would be good second choices. All are 1/2" accurate, some not as fast and some not as temp stable.

I have only one for now that I run in my 24" Rem 700 factory 7mm-08.

THIS IS AN IMPRESSIVE LOAD! YOU MUST TRY! **Work up though!**
120 NBT @ 3100+fps with 45gr Varget and CCI200.

Also have some 120 TTSX, 130 Hot Cor, 139 HIL, 140 NBT & Partitions and 145 Hot Cor to try when my factory 26" varmint barrel gets back from the chop shop @ 20" for my can.

I have a 120 TTSX load worked up. Just have 70 of these InterBond's nobody want to trade for so I thought I would see if anyone had a specific load for them I could try.

All things considered, I'm not sure there is a better balanced cartridge than the GREAT 7-
My 7-08 load is 45.1 grains of Varget pushing120 Hammer Hunter at 3180! This is a devastating combo. Killed buck at 485 with it and whacked A 110 pound doe for the freezer at 405 two days ago. Buck dropped. Doe ran about 50 yards. She was hit in the lungs. Bullet is badass.
I love that combo. I'm just under 45 gr of Varget with the 120 HH. Great success hunting whitetails. Couple of 250+ yard shots and no tracking.
