She's a bit larger than 243 w/low velocity and zip for trajectory.

I would not go smaller than 7MM
if you want to use it for Elk.
Yes, Guys I know that lesser cals. will do the job.
But they are just that when it comes to putting down a big old Bull.
You have many choices and I hope the right one comes for you.
