Any sense in trying StaBall 6.5 instead of H4350? Only asking cause I have 16 lbs of it…
You probably will find more velocity with SB65Any sense in trying StaBall 6.5 instead of H4350? Only asking cause I have 16 lbs of it…
I had Hoover Precision in Columbia Falls MT punch a Tikka 22-250 out to a 22cm. He would likely do the work, idk if he has a 260ai reamer tho. He does good work, get in touch with him.I have a Tikka CTR 20 inch Tikka OEM barrel. Is there a gunsmith who convert that Tikka 260 to a 260AI? Thanks
I like the reamer print with the dimension of .4714 at the .200 line(Y). Gives you some lattitude in shooting Lapua brass without clickers. Freebore dia is another plus! This is one heck of a reamer, in other respects also!I shoot several 260/260AI. this is my latest build/reamer.
I have a Bartlein 1:9 to 1:8 GTW barrel. I shoot 130-144 gr bullets.
I used a 6.5x55AI and a 6.5x284AI to shoot the heavier 150+ gr bullets.
I believe they have the case capacity to help push those heavier bullets...but not saying those bullets cant be effective in a lesser case capacity cartridge...I did try it in my 6.5 Creed after I had the chamber FB extended. Worked ok, but I like to have more velocity.
No, I have tons of sw long rifle and H4831SC to use up.806, have you tried Stabal 6.5?
130g ELD-Ms have proven to be a great deer bullet, so have the 140 eldm
