I have a 17 Remington and a 6 Creedmoor. Id like a new rifle to bridge those to others Im thinking about a 22 GT. Any thought or suggestions. I want a walking varmint rifle for Marmots
It's hard to beat a GT. I use mine for prairie dogs in the wind. 85.5 berger at 3100. Great brass, no fireforming. Probably my favorite 22cal.
Now, the 85.5 isnt the best varmint bullet. Sometimes they pop and sometimes they pencil through. I may try some 75s in mine next year.
