3x Bypass plus a valve replacement

I'm home almost a week from having the above done to me. I can't drive or even carry any weight yet so going to the range by myself is out.

For those of you have had this operation, how long was it before you were shooting. Prone shooters, how long was it before you could go prone again?

Midrange F-Open with a 6BR is my passion.
 
My dad is 2 years out from a 3X bypass, it was rough for the first 30 days for sure. After that he gained some momentum and I'd say it took him about 6-7 months to get back to mostly normal where he could shoulder a rifle and shoot low recoiling rifles. At a year and probably less he was completely back. He had some complications and was mid 70's so he took a little longer than a guy a little younger and didn't have some complications would.
 
I'm 62 so I'm hoping I heal a little sooner. But thank you for your response. I plan on mentioning a guy I met at the gun club and allow him to shoot my competition gun. Maybe I can get him to get addicted too.
