I'd trust Hillary Clinton selling me gas station sushi before believing this statement:
"It allows for dimensionally identical 6.5 Creedmoor cases to be loaded hot enough to produce muzzle velocities that are 300 fps faster than conventional 6.5 CM loads without increasing perceived recoil."

The AI generated barrel in the ad continues to erode believability. LOL

Reloader 26 can really wake up the 6.5. Ran numbers through quick load with the 140 eldm and a 26" barrel was right at 3000. Load testing showed no pressure. Ql estimated 63k. 2950 is doable with decent case life.
 
I wonder how long before this comes in a real cartridge like say a 257 Weatherby? And would the higher pressure have the same utility in a long barrel? I see it packaged with the PXT type technology to extend barrel life. In a 25 or 264 caliber magnum it would be a step up in long range performance.
 
At 72.00 dollars for a 20-round box of 130 gr. they can keep them. I'm waiting on the sushi from Hillary like bradmoto said. I think I will stick to brass. Just found out they may sell them for around 48 - 52 dollars for a box of 20 I myself will stick to reloading my own brass it's bad enough when something goes wrong firing brass but at those pressures it may mean death even to a bystander. Of course this is only my thoughts.

130 gr Federal Peak + ammo, is around $56 a box. As opposed to buying a new rifle, I'm pretty sure a $56 box or two of ammo, is a bargain. I know I'll be trying some out.

As for it being an April Fool's joke, etc, I just watched a 20 minute YouTube video of a gentleman testing it in 3 separate rifles of varying manufacture and barrel length. It CONSISTENTLY had higher MV and, according to him, fed and extracted very smoothly.

What's not to like? I don't understand the mulish resistance to everything about the 6.5 Creedmoor?
 
They have said they are committed to keeping them same price as their standard ammo for like bullets. Keep in mind they are releasing them in premium bullets so it will be more than 35 dollars a box. But, eventually it might be released in power shock too.
